Weapon Details
WEAPONS DETAILS:

All of my weapons ARE CON LEGAL.  Made from a plexiglass base, most swords are then sanded to your specifications and then painted and detailed.  When requesting a sword (or other weapon) not in stock, one must remember to have several detailed images of not only the blade, but the hilt and scabbard as well. (For other weapons, three angles or sides will suffice)

HILTS:  Katanas, wakizashi, sakabatous, etc. have handcrafted hilts made of foam, and are then wrapped traditionally.  Broadswords and other hilts follow a similar procedure, also started with a foam coating, but then are wrapped per specifications or images supplied.

BLADE:  As stated, the blades are made of a lightweight plexiglass. I normally opt for 1/4th inch Plexi and then cut down the weapon on a bandsaw.  I then sand the working edge (or edges) until they are sharp.  Although I try not to, these blades can sometimes get sharp and inflict a papercut status wound to someone if they constantly run their finger along the sharpened side.  Trust me, my Ivy sword has cut me several times accidentally. For more extravagent projects, I tend to use thicker plexi or meld two pieces, such as a commission for a gunblade or mastersword, and then build up pieces with blue or yellow foam.  For weapons such as SOUL EDGE, I use RUBBER LATEX, in vast amounts and carefully sculpt the blade along with the plexi.

PAINT JOB: You can opt to have an un-finished spray on your blade.  This means it will have a coat of a chrome spray that will mark up with fingerprints easily but retain its luster, or a dulled clear acryllic spray over the finished blade to protect it.  The unfinished swords are more prone to scratch, but if being used for show can have a more resplendid look to them.

SHEATHS: Still in progress, past sheaths were made from polyurethane coated craft foam.  Now I'm researching a thin and hard plexi that will protect the blade better.  More news as more discoveries are made!

OTHER WEAPONS:  I also accept other weapons commissions, which will be made from similar materials, such as staffs, guns, and shields.  Contact me for info!

DISCLAIMER:  Although my swords are flexible, BE CAREFUL!!  they still can break!  I offer no exchanges unless my weapon broke on transit to you.
